M.D.S Aims & Objectives :

In order to cope with the increasing demand of qualified postgraduate  teachers because of increase in number of Dental institutions and to promote research activities in the field of Dentistry with necessary basic infrastructure the state Govt. and Kurukshetra University undertook to expand the existing and to start new Postgraduate Dentistry programme at D.A.V.(C) Dental College and Hospital , Yamuna Nagar, for which the permission from the various authorities has been obtained.

The starting of P.G. Course will bridge the widening gap between existing graduates and very few postgraduate teachers available in the Dental Institutions and also ensure higher standard of education. Further it will also provide facilities for specialized treatment to the people of Haryana. In addition to that , Postgraduate programme aims to provide educational facilities of  the highest order for the training of students and to attain self sufficiency in Postgraduate Dental education which are best situated to the needs of the nation.                      

Duration OF COURSE AND NUMBER OF SEATS:

Duration of M.D.S. Course will be three academic years. There will be no relaxation in the duration of course of study on any ground.
